I wouldn't qualify for RNY now.

If I was starting this process I would not qualify for RNY my BMI is now 34.9.  I weighed in this morning at 210 lbs.  Only 30 more to go to hit the goal Guelph set for me.

I have been away from the scale for 4 days and that was a good drop of 3 lbs.  I should go away more often.

I loved when I no longer qualified. Isn't it grand?

Now I am "overweight" .... A day doesn't go by that I don't smile about that one!

Great job, Sharon.  Good work.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Why not consider not having the surgery then, its the lifestyle changes that make the biggest difference and your making them already. Yes I know its a lot of other factors but its major surgery, we forget that sometimes. If I could lose the weight like that not sure I would of done it.

Just FYI, I think you might have missed that Sharon is post op, she is just commenting that she has lost enough weight now that she wouldn't qualify for the surgery now if she were just starting the process.

WOW Sharon

Congrats on your weight loss, you are working your tool very successfully

And yes if you were starting your journey now then you would not qualify for surgery, but would you

have maintained the weight loss successfully, I am sure that you have had other diets work for you

and gain weight again, and dieted, lost and then gained again, right?

You are now on the road to never going back to that yo-yo dieting again LOL

Take care and again, congrats on your success, we love to see these beautiful posts, how about

some pics of before and after?????  LOL
