Gas Question

 Sorry to ask another gas question but I am in a hurry to get to the hospital to see my mother in law and I don't have time to read back. My mother in law didn't have WLS but she had some of her intestines removed. She has gas and it won't release. She is on day five of no fluids just IV. She's up walking still not helping. What are some of the prescription names for meds to get rid of the gas. Sh can't get out of the hospital until she starts to pass. Thank you

 I dunno any prescriptions, however have you tried giving her gas-x strips??? they melt in your mouth so you don't need liquid to take em.  

If she is still in hospital than you need to be asking the doctors and the nurses. they should be very willing to help your Mom in law.  They will know what is best for her.

This is strictly something for the medicos to work on - it could very well be a mechanical issue.
Not to be messed with - potentially quite serious.
