Thank you for the details on what to expect in seeing Dr. Agarwal. I am looking forward to his visit. Is the stress test for everyone or only if you have or had heart problems? I'm so excited.

Not sure about the stress test. I don't think everyone has one, but who knows? It might be because I have high blood pressure. He suggested that I have my family doctor prescribe somehting for it if my surgery was going to be more than a couple of months away, which it was. My blood pressure is normal now!

The visit to Dr Agarwal's office was quite pleasant, for a medical appointment, that is!

that's good news and yes Guelph is a long wait.. i had my referral sent Feb 2010 and didn't have orientation till April 2011 so i was over a year for orientation. my second set of apts is Oct 4 to see the nurse and the dietitian. hopefully i will pass them and be sent along.. i really hope! but it will basically be two years wait for me for surgery.. it def messes with your patients ..
