Hi, I'm looking in to joining Achieves and I was wondering if anyone goes there? If so what's it like, how much is the membership for a year? I'm debating between that and the YMCA. What would you recommend? I'm pre surgery and want to start now so it won't be so hard after surgery. My fear is that they will push me too hard and I won't be able to do it and get embarrassed.
I look forward to any feed back I can get.

I really don't have an answer for you, but just wanted to give a shout out to a fellow Soo-ite. :)

I moved away about 10 years ago to the GTA, but go back several times a year. All my family is there.

Central. First Forest Ave. (below the Mount), then Eagle Dr. behind Sault College, and lastly MacDonald Ave, between Lake and Pine.

My hubby was a west-ender- top of the hill on Allen's Side Rd.

I was a west ender as well .... Base Line ... still a west ender with my hubby

Thanks Tammy ... I will ... Achieves is $39 a month and for my hubby and I at the Y will be $80 ... I flipping because it would be nice to do work out with my hubby that and the Y has a pool and I love swimming and have an interest in aquabics ... maybe I need to flip a coin lol
