Another Update from Nurse Tammy

Tammy sent me this update tonight....
Hey Tanya.
Thanks for getting back to me. I am still having a bit of trouble with my blood levels. I am on transfusion number 2, and the drain still has a lot of blood coming out, so they need to try to keep up with the blood loss from my spleen. The staff here are wonderful, and despite the spleen thing, I really do believe that Dr. Hong did as great as job he could with the challenges I had. The pain is still pretty bad, but I am up walking and sipping and doing everything I can to help heal. I was hoping to go home tomorrow, but we will see. I can't wait to get home! You can update the board if you have a chance. Thank you so much for lending your support Tanya!

 wow, it sounds so rough and yet she also sounds really positive....what amazing determination to get over this obstacle.  I hope things take a turn for the better quickly and Tammy is home recovering in comfort soon.

I feel so bad for her. I love her positive attitude though. I hope she gets to go home soon. Sending positive healing vibes and prayers her way.

I truly hope they get Tammy's complications resolved quickly so that she can get home to recover in comfort.  I will keep her in my prayers and send lots of healing vibes her way.
