Thanks Joyce, really missed you too!  I am absolutely lucky and I guess we're just gonna keep getting luckier. Can't wait to see how life will be a few months from now.

Having experienced a taste of both, they are just words and quality of life.  :)   Your time is coming up fast, guess we won't see you before your surgery, so hope to see you soon after.

I'm sneaky. :)  I would come back from time to time, but mostly wanted to keep surgery out of my mind before I drove myself crazy.

Jonathin! I am so glad to see you posting again. I am so happy that you finally have a date - you will not regret this surgery nor will you ever look back. I am almost a month out and I am so happy. My family and young daughter are very supportive and patiently waiting for the day when I can do so much more with them. The day is getting closer! Keep us posted.

That's great news.  You daughter will love it when your energy increases, and you can happily say "sure" more often to activities, instead of "I'm tired now".  By the way, she's such a cutie!
