Absolutely! I keep telling her of the things we'll do after surgery and that's what turns her spirits around about the surgery.

Thank you, Ann. It certainly is worth what I'm doing it for. I started this journey to ensure I'm around for my daughter and that's given me the sole motivation to make sure it works. Optifast, so far, has been a breeze. I can only imagine how great post-surgery will be.

Hello stranger! I was so happy to open this post and see that you finally have a date! Are you having surgery in Ottawa or Toronto (as I think you were talking about this at one point)? Yay for you and the little sweetie!! If you ever need a babysitter or anything at all you know you can count on any of us from the support group!

I'm having it in Ottawa with Mamazza, although I was told the surgeon can change on the day of the surgery. You and Jenny both had Mamazza, right?

Hey J! No, I had my surgery in Utica, NY with Dr.Fitzer. Jenny and Sherri had their surgery on the same day with Dr.Yelle.

Totally loving the new season of TB! I  Eric! Liking that they are kinda going down this path like in the books!

It does seem like a long time, but I see many signatures of people who have waited just as long or longer. I'm just finally glad it's here. The wait got a lot easier once I was booked for the information session, anxiety seemed to take a back seat once I had a firm date instead of the vast unknown. 

Thanks Sue. I'll definitely share that great symbolism, especially since her class received caterpillars this year that changed into butterflies.
