My fellow Guelph-ers..lol

Hi Guys,
I know this question has probably been asked a BIZZILLION times before but I'm just curious..for the people that have had surgery recently in Guelph how long was it from the appointment where you met the surgeon until you actually had the surgery? Also, I updated my profile today because I found out who my surgeon is going to be..so I added Dr. Reeds name but it won't let me save his name unless I put in a surgery date...I obviously don't know when my surgery will be so I just put it at 6 weeks from my appointment to meet the surgeon..How can I save my surgeons name but not have to put in a surgery date until I know the actual date??

Hi, I to had Dr. Reed.  My appt with him was Nov 22nd and my surgery was Jan 19th so that was about 8 weeks but it might have been sooner if it was not over the Christmas period.

So your estimate of 6 weeks might be pretty close.  As for saving the name and not your date I am not sure how you can do it, but you can always go in and change your date after you see him.

You will like Dr. Reed, he is great.

I also had dr. Reed...I lucked out...I saw him end of may 2010, and called me that same nite and had the surgery 2 weeks later they had a cancelation....and as far posting his name not sure how to fix that sorry,

Dr sent in referral – Jan 3^rd 2010

Orientation – June 17^th 2010

1^St appts with nurse, dietitian & social worker – Sept 29 2010

2^nd  appts with nurse, dietitian & social worker – Nov 24^th

3^rd appt with nurse – Dec 27^th 2010

3^rd appt with dietitian – Dec 29^th 2010

Met with surgeon  - Jan 18^th 2011

Pre op testing – Feb 22^nd 2011

Surgery day – March 16 2011

As of this morning I've lost 90.5 pounds and feel so alive & lucky to have had this second chance at getting my life on track.
