Hi Guys,
I know this question has probably been asked a BIZZILLION times before but I'm just curious..for the people that have had surgery recently in Guelph how long was it from the appointment where you met the surgeon until you actually had the surgery? Also, I updated my profile today because I found out who my surgeon is going to be..so I added Dr. Reeds name but it won't let me save his name unless I put in a surgery date...I obviously don't know when my surgery will be so I just put it at 6 weeks from my appointment to meet the surgeon..How can I save my surgeons name but not have to put in a surgery date until I know the actual date??

Orientation: September 16th, 2010 Surgery information class: May 10th/ 11
Sleep Study: No sleep apnea Surgeon (Dr.Reed): July 19th/ 11

(Nut/SW/Nurse): Dec.9th/10 Surgery: August 18th/ 11
Hi, I to had Dr. Reed. My appt with him was Nov 22nd and my surgery was Jan 19th so that was about 8 weeks but it might have been sooner if it was not over the Christmas period.
So your estimate of 6 weeks might be pretty close. As for saving the name and not your date I am not sure how you can do it, but you can always go in and change your date after you see him.

Dr sent in referral – Jan 3rd 2010
Orientation – June 17th 2010
1St appts with nurse, dietitian & social worker – Sept 29 2010
2nd appts with nurse, dietitian & social worker – Nov 24th
3rd appt with nurse – Dec 27th 2010
3rd appt with dietitian – Dec 29th 2010
Met with surgeon - Jan 18th 2011
Pre op testing – Feb 22nd 2011
Surgery day – March 16 2011
