Guelph Surgery/ Nurtition class tomorrow..

Hi Everyone!
So I go to Guelph for my surgery/ nutrition class (class before meeting the surgeon) tomorrow at 3pm. I'm going to speak with Linda tomorrow and hopefully get a more clear time line from here on out.. Hopefully I will come home with good news..lol..I'm trying with all my might to stay patient and focused during the whole process but it is SOOOO HARD..the process is soo long....but patience is a virtue and in the end it will all be worth it!....If anyone else is going to be in the same class, I will see you there!!

P.S When I get home I will post any details that I get about time lines, etc..

 The waiting and not knowing was the hardest part of the pre-op process, I think.

 Oh man.. I know.. I think the not knowing is worse than the waiting..lol.. oh well.. good things come to those who wait.. and lord knows I've been waiting..lol..

Not 100% sure but I was told that the nutrition class would be within 3 weeks of meeting the surgeon. I am also with Guelph.

My class was august 27th 2010 and I met the surgeon on March 1 2011.  This has been the common time frame in Guelph recently.  Unless things have changes drastically, don't count on 3 weeks!

Hi Jen !!

I think you are talking about Orientation.  Guelph has a new class going on.. after you finish up with the social worker, nurse and dietician, there is a more indepth class about the surgery/nutrition.  THEN you get to meet the surgeon.

This just started in the few months.

I think today is the first class they've ever had on this!  It's REALLY new!  LOL
