I dont know if anyone has had to think about this, but i have been thinking about getting plastics done on my stomach, its still a little early but i am thinking ahead.  Now i eventually want to have children,  so i am not sure if having the plastics first would be a good idea.
Any Suggestions???

I have a friend who lost 100lbs, got a tummy tuck and then had a baby and her belly looks great. I plan to get a tummy tuck (if necessary) after I lose another 100 or so lbs and then have another baby - I have had one baby already. :)

However, I am not a doctor, so your best bet would be to have a consult with the plastic surgeon about this and ask. This is what I intend to do. Plus, I imagine everyone's skin is different etc... bounces back differently after pregnancy.

Good luck!

I've seen this questions asked a few times on the plastics board and replies seem to be consistent with waiting until you've had children if you want any more.

I would have waited if I wanted more kids. A friend of mine was told by her PS not to have any procedures until after she was done having children.

I would have children first, as once skin is stretched to a point where you get stretch marks, it won't go back to where it was.  I wouldn't want to have to go for a tuck twice!

My sister in law had a tummy tuck and the surgeon wanted confirmation that she wasn't planning to have anymore children. I think it's a personal choice, but I myself would wait.

It would probably be a waste of money to have a tummy tuck if you are planning on having kids. Why risk having to pay for it twice? You want to get the best results possible so it would make sense to wait.
