Good luck and it is really not that hard at all.  I started mine last Friday and thought the same way you did.  Even with having a husband who decided to have pizza Friday night in front of me, I was able to resist the temptation as I look at the bigger picture of why we are doing this.  He was just happy he got the whole pizza....lol.

Good luck and see you on the bench

the first 5ish days are the worst of it.  just battle through and remember why your doing this.  LOTS of water.  blend the shakes with ice and drink em as cold as u can stand em.  also if your allowed mix in a teaspoon of instant coffee into em and they make em taste better.

i did optifast for 6 weeks so i know your pain LOL

Hi,
I want to wish you the best as you start the final run up to surgery. I didn't have to do Optifast so I'll never know if I could have done it...lol
You will do fine. As I have read often, the first few days are the worst. I guess it is breaking the carb addiction. Keep your eye on the prize.
Take care and happy thoughts

Wish you luck, you bet! Although I hear the determination in your words and I'm sure that it combined with your positive attitude you are going to do awesome.

These 2 weeks will fly by and the next thing you know you will be out of the hospital and recovering.  Remember it's a journey and we are all along for the ride.  Take care and keep us posted on your success.
