Some drug plans will cover proferrin, sometimes you need a special authorization.

Ask your plan administrator if its covered, if they say NO ask if it would be covered by "special authorization"  they don't offer this information you have to ask.  If they say yes they will snail mail the form to you.

When yoou receive it PM me and I will help you complete it for MD signature

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

 That's a teriffic post.

I have the right red blood cell count, but apparently my bloodcells are abnormally small.  My PCP refers to it as a type of anemia that is common in people of Caribbean decent (I'm a combination of Geman, English, Scottish & Mohawk nothing caribbean as far as I know).  

My question is ... I'm pre-op.  Any idea if the small blood cells would be of any concern with surgery or post op?  

It's something I plan to ask when I finally meet my surgeon, but getting an idea now would be nice.
