Sharing my sphincterotomy experience

I am so glad to hear this good report. I consider myself "highly blessed and favored" to have never had such a problem, so I can't empathize in the way of one who's BTDT, but my butthole cringes nonetheless.

When I had my TT, you might recall that I complained of a brick****ting episode. I had nightmares after that for fear it was the beginning of such a thing, but thank God it wasn't. Diana's words followed me around for quite some time while I worked that out: "LET **** HAPPEN." (And remember, I know her voice, so it was pretty realistic LOL.)

Here's hoping this is the beginning of a very happy asshole for you .

Jenna,

I am so glad that you are home and doing so well... I too though it would have been worse.  I hope to never have these problems but thank you so much for letting me and others know what to look for and how to proceed from there.

Get to feeling even better real soon,

Lynne

With what little experience I have with fissures, you SO have my sympathy in dealing with it for so long. Good grief that had to be awful. I'm glad you are on the mend with no problems.

Unrelated, but I did want to say that your new avi is very pretty.

Thanks Jenna for sharing this. I have been thinking about you. I knew your surgery was this month and I was waiting to hear how you have been doing. I haven't been on OH in awhile, so sorry, if I missed other news.
I, too, deal with this issue and I can FEEL your pain. I am doing what medical treatments I can, but I relate to the excruiating pain that is associated with them. I may be PM'ing you, if medical doesnt work. Hope you are feeling much better every day. You are a doll for being so open. I know I appreciate it!

I'm so glad you weathered this well Jenna.    The description of this type of surgery always sounds so gruesome, and I'm relieved to hear that it wasn't quite that.

Rest up and feel great soon!

I'm so glad you are on the road to recovery.  Thank you for sharing this as I have also heard 3rd hand horror stories about the entire procedure.

Gentle hugs,
