unwich.....grosswich review of Jimmy Johns
It's a newwwww day (Celine Dion song)...anyhoo, after my thread yesterday, really buckled down today and got to protien business, which meant no bread on my jimmy johns. Been wanting to try an unwich, check that urge off my list. Really not appetizing. They put lettuce in my lettuce wrap, and the whole sandwich was mostly....lettuce....I'm unhappy, good thing I brought cashews, pistachios, jerky, and those cow cheese wedges to work today. I'd be starvin.

I love them. I get lots of extra mayo, and peel away some of the lettuce. I don't miss the bread at all.

Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.

I love Jimmy John's, especially the Unwiches. To cut down on the lettuce you need ask them for no lettuce on the inside. That makes a HUGE difference. I always order my unwiches online and I select the "no lettuce" option. Since they wrap it in lettuce you don't need the extra on the inside. I ususally get the Italian Night club. It is incredibly yummy!

Those things are THE BOMB. It can be a little lettuce heavy if you don't order it right.
I recommend the Italian Night Club unwich! The lettuce on the inside is coated in the most delicious vinaigrette and there are tomatoes and salami and ohh...yum. I want one now.
Or next time, just tell them no lettuce. lol
The avocado spread is good too!

Okay, okay all you JJ's unwich fans, I will try it again, the salami one, and gutting the bread, now THAT's a good idea, extra cheese, next time, no matter what, remove the lettuce from the lettuce wrap. Not ready today, but I will change it up a bit next time I go :) Thanks for all the suggestions!
