Hi Karen.
Thanks for asking.
I am feeling great and am so happy I had my surgery.
I have lost 42 lbs. so far - and lots of inches - thank God I kept some clothes that were way to tight cause now I am into them (and they are getting loose!) - what a great feeling.

Thank you all so very much. I can't believe how much difference there is in my life since surgery. Less than a year ago I could not stand long enough to do dishes, I had to sit on a chair at the sink, now I did all the Christmas dishes and cooked. Imagine, me!!! Truly Stunning.

I am so very happy.

Hi Elizabeth. I am doing just great. Thanks for asking. So glad I had my surgery - just wish I had done it years before - I always thought back then, though, that it was just something for the rich and famous.
I am very happy.

I totally understand the thinking it's for the rich and famous. I did also. I am actually suprised that I got the surgery and everything is working. I generally have bad luck and always make the wrong choice {well almost always} so am so excited I did right in this choice haha.

Thanks for the congrat's I am so excited. I know this sounds real dumb, but I am so happy to be just a normal fat person.

When I first joined this board I think I was the heaviest or top 3 heaviest people here. I am always the heaviest when I go places. Now I am not.

I am now amoung the normal fat people {normal being fat weight haha}. I know that sounds dumb and maybe I am saying it wrong, lmao but it's how I feel.

So glad to see you doing so well and to have had your surgery, even if you had to pay yourself. {Sad}.

Wow! Thanks Elizabeth. There were times I felt knocked down.......but I did keep on going - and in the end when I lost because of a corrupt system, they still were not going to dictate my choice of surgery.
I thank God that Hughie and I were in the position to be able to take out such a loan - neither of us have regretted it one moment.

Way to go Elizabeth - your an inspiration to us all- you fight the fight and keep a great attitude and always find a way to be positive - you are a valued friend to us all!
