Wow Nancy! What an ordeal you had to go through. I'm glad you and your family were not injured by this psycho!

I remember this murder. My in-laws live in the area, my MIL is in Lornville and my BIL lives on Jarvis. It was a scary time for sure!

Thank you TerryLynn, yes it was a scary time for everyone and it was even worse when we found out how she really died, it was horrible, something I will never forget, such a shame though, cos she was such a lovely lady and didn't deserve this.

I think one of the worse parts is after he did what he did to her, he went to a family gathering and cried with her parents, kids, and boyfriend. He called it a cry fest with them over her loss. (He told me this the day before he was arrested when he saw both me and Richard in the hallway to go outside).

I no longer live on Lefebvre we bought our own place after that, this way, we wouldn't have to worry about that crap anymore.

Hey, ot, could you please send me your lovely meat ball recipe we had at Christmas time, cos they were so good, lol oh and the potatoes too, I think you made those as well right, lol.

Nancy, I am so sorry if I brought this to the surface for you again. I hope that you are doing okay. I know that we all face many difficulties in life and you have had more than your share already for two lifetimes!!

I know that we all have our own angels watching over us, you have been very blessed with yours being there when you need them. You baby, Beethoven knows that you love him so much and was willling to put his life on the line for you. Thankfully, he recovered and is still with you!!

I hope this man geats a very long time in jail!! He should also be punished for what he did to you though. Although, I am glad that you will not have to testify against him!

We were told not to talk about it by the police, so we never really did, not til now, cos I don't think it matters anymore, lol.

That was a very scarry time for you,one I'm sure you relive over and over again in your mind.
I can relate some what...
my older sister one year older was brutally murdered a week before her 19th birthday.
It's been 30 plus years and in my heart and mind it's like it just happened yesterday.
The hard part of it is there were 5 people involved 2 of which were girls  who I new from school and two of the three guys were brothers I knew as well, the third guy I'm not sure of. But they were like some kind of a gang.No one has paid for this crime.
Although the strangest thing happened, when my Dad was dying he spoke to his best friend who had passed away before him and they said they would take care of the leader of the gang.
The day after we read in the paper that there was a man by the same name had died. So my older brother went to the funeral parlor and low and behold it was him.
So they kept their word and some justice was done.
But there are 4 other people walking around still, free and alive.
Life is so  unfare sometimes.

Anyway I could go into horrid details about her death, but I won't go there,not today.
Way to painful.
Hope I haven't upset anyone.

I'm so sorry about what happened to your sister and your family and to never have justice served is even worse.

It was so eerie how that happened, but I have heard of others things like that happening.

The others will pay someday when they stand in judgement  before God if not sooner.

Yes, sometimes life is so unfair, and I hope I haven't brought up all those memories again and I'm sorry if I have.

It was a very very sad day I remember it clearly a good freind of mine works with Joanne`s boyfriend at the time. I guess they were starting to be a happy family and he adored her kids and took them as his own. The day that it happen they went to work to get him and told him there where I guess everyone could hear him crying and yelling. The funeral was one of the hardest one my friend said she had to go to everyone was asking why why her and like you said could have been even worst if he would have gotten you or your daughter !!! I`m sure it must bring up a lot of bad memories did you get any phsychology help for yourself afterwards. Things like this could come back at you years later and make you very sick.

I live beside a rental house and a few years ago it was a gang of drug addicts living there , we knew the landlord but his arms were tied as he couldn`t just throw them out. Well it got to the point I wouldn`t go outside anymore I`m alone often so I stayed in the house with the doors locked. The worst part was we knew some of the guys one had went to school with my youngest son but honestly it made things even worst cause I never knew if I should be nice to him or not. They were finally put out and it was the happiest day of my life. Drugs does so much to someones mind that u never know how to take them....

Thank God you made it through and lets hope you never never have to be in that situation again!!!
