I was in my own panties and jammies within an hour of getting back to my room.  I hate those drafty gowns!!  Oh, I recommend slip on shoes to make it easy to get on without bending over. I was walking the halls as soon as I had my jammies on and was covered.  Dont' bother with a book or magazine.  You will either be sleeping or walking the halls.

I had boullion, sf jellos, crystal light, and some protein shakes when I got home.

I felt wonderful post-op.  Easiest surgery I have ever had.

Personally, I think Monday is too soon to go back to a job that requires lifting and carrying heavy objects.

My surgery was textbook perfect.  I had absolutely NO complications.  That being  said, I had surgery on Friday, went back to work on Tuesday, and was wiped out in 5 hours.  My job requires no lifting.

Please talk to your surgeon and see what he has to say.

Hey CJ, yep, I really do hope it works out.  I hate the down time but I figure the next 6 months is going to come and go regardless so I might as well be doing something pro active to reach my goals.  There will be lots of time later to train for triathlons and stuff.

Hey Marsha!!  All of us are going to keep Dr. Sawan in business I think! LOL  I am having a lower body lift.  I think some call it a full 360.  It's now just "next month" when I have it done! Yikes!  I'm so glad he will do this at Summitt so I can go where I am comfortable and know that I'm in good hands with Rita and the crew.
