You can also go to the Supplemental Shak at 71st and Memorial. She will give you a bariatric discount and she has lots of samples. When I got sick of the milk based ones , I really enjoyed Nectar's Twisted cherry. Getting fluid down is important to keep dehydration ( and constipation) away. It really does get a little easier each week.

I buy mine at Discount Sports Nutrition at 61st & Memorial. There is more information on the RNY forum that will give you information on how to order samples of all their flavors. I would hate to see you buy a big tub and end of hating it. I know that several other websites sell the samples also. Seems like I paid about $10 for 10 or 11 samples. Just use the search option at the top of this page and put in Nectar Samples or something like that. It will bring up a lot of different threads where folks have found the samples, how much, how to get them, etc. It's definitely worth trying their stuff.

where do you buy these from or do you order them online? Does it actually taste like lemonade? That would be a dream come true if it does.

I got really sick of the milk-based protein shakes. I have had good luck with the Syntrax Nectars. I love the Fuzzy Navel and Roadside Lemonade. You might try something like these for a change.

It takes time to be able to get all your water and protein in. Right now do what you can, it will get much easier as time goes on.
I could not really do the protein shakes, they made me nausious, so once I was cleared to go to more solid type foods I lived on Taco Bell pinto's and cheese and peanutbutter (I know not the best, but I lived thru it!)

Topic: Getting in Protien & Water
I am having the hardest time getting in my protien and water daily. Some days I just give up. I will be 2 weeks post op tomorrow. I have tried 3 different kinds of protien powder and they all make me want to gag. Its hard enough getting one protien drink down my throat but two just seems evil. Water is hard to get in because I can only drink 2 oz's at a time. Its horrible. Does anyone have any suggestions?
