I didn't mean to confuse anyone!  I just had my surgery in November, and didn't know about Weight Wise last year, so that's why I said it!  I should work on my phrasing .

All the Weight Wise patients are welcome, I'm disappointed I won't get to meet you all!

I've been to the support group quite a bit. I only suspected it might be an invite only party because Alicia said "This is the first year I've been invited". I plan to be there with bells on. ;)

As far as I know all are welcome at the Weight wise holiday party.  Come and meet folks.  I know the support group meetings are open to all.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Today is a semi-crap day.

For breakfast, I had a Mocha Mint Protein Shake and a piece of String Cheese (Mozzarella).  For lunch, I had a Diet Dr Pepper and a slice of thin crust Ham & Pineapple Pizza.  For a snack, I'm going to have a Click and another Cheese.  For dinner, I'm having... crap... Philly Chicken sandwiches.  If I'm smart, I'll avoid the bread, but that remains to be seen.

This isn't a great time of year to plan anything...but I'm totally down for anything "next year." Once a month, every other month...whenever, wherever. Part of what helps to keep us motivated and successful is staying connected to others that walk in our shoes every day, so I tend to think the more, the better. :)

Is it by invite-only?

Topic: MIni Goal of the Week
OK, so my new thing is to set 1 goal for the week and try to master it. Baby steps, baby steps.

My mini goal for this week is to cut out sweets.

Do you have any bad habits that have slipped into your routine? If so do you have a mini goal that you can set for this week?

I showed you mine   now you show me yours...

I am eating CRAP! That is the best description I can give and that is why I am up 2lbs this week!
I am a band patient and I think I am a little to tight, so to keep from upchucking I eat sliders. ICE CREAM seems to be my crap of choice these days. Needless to day it very seldomly comes back up.

I have a Dr appointment Monday, so I think I will ask for a slight unfil so that dense protein does  not revisit me 2 min after swallowing, and I am going to work on my mental part for the next week and not put sweets in my mouth!

What have I had so far today??? OK not off to a good start today.... I had a peppermint mocha from Starbucks for breakfast, not exactly the breakfast of champions, but I am definitely NOT hungry.

Ok, accountability time has come! Tell me what you are eating! Tell me what makes you tick! Is it mac and cheese? Is it a high protein-low carb delicious, enticing.... piece of turkey? Today I am thinking about eating a cheese stick... and maybe something else... if I EVER get out of this service department (stupid car dealerships). But, *sigh* I must admit that I opted for the diet Dr. Pepper for breakfast.....but hey.... I left the doughnut alone! So tell me what is on your menu today. Maybe hearing what others are putting in their mouths will help me find ambition to change my menu and eat a little healthier!

Topic: RE: OMG This Will NEVER Do!
The "reboot" program is a nutrition program designed by Weight Wise to help us post-op people who have fallen off the wagon. You can get more information about it by calling and speaking with a nutrionist at WW. I don't think there has ever been a restriction on who can visit a support meeting at WW. It seems that they are always open to having anyone and everyone who is supportive of weight loss. I wish you luck and hope that you and your sister visit one day. I know what you mean about self-pay.... I saved forever! I think the ultimate goal is to help anyone who needs the help... no matter where they had surgery.
