Topic: Has anyone used Dr Walton or Dr. Broussard at Weight Wise?
Hello!  I am new here and I've been researching the gastric sleeve procedure nonstop for the past few weeks.  I have read many reviews for Dr. Walton and Dr. Broussard with the Weight Wise program in Edmond. Has anyone here had any experience with either of them?  My doctor thinks very highly of Dr. Walton, but I've been told that Dr. Broussard with be hosting the seminar this weekend.  I'm very interested in seeing what he has to say.  I just want to know what to expect.  Thanks!

Sometimes your body just needs to take a deep breath and adjust (a stall) to wha't going on.  Hang tough, do all the things you know you should, and you'll be surprised when one day it suddenly jumps down again :)
Have a great day!!!

As frustrating as it is, stalling is a normal part of the process.  Your body is taking a breather and regrouping.  You made a drastic change to your body, the amount and kind of food you are feeding it, as well as the hige weight loss.  Your body has to take a time out then it will allow more weight loss.  As long as you are following your doctor's program you will lose weight but your body decides when and how much.  Hang in there!

Congrats on the wonderful decision!  By now you must be ready to begin mushies.  You will be amazed at how little food fills you up to the very top of your tiny tummy!  Hope all went well.

We knew going in to this journey that it was a marathon and not a sprint.  You don't to weight loss once and be done-- unfortunately.  We all have the tools we need to lose whatever weight we let creep back  on.  Use your tools and take charge again.  You CAN do it!  Focus on lean proteins first, then add any veggies you have room for.  Don't drink with your meals.  Eat mindfully instead of shoving it in (my biggest issue.)

Hang in there!  We all need a kick in the pants now and again.

Hey Pammie!!!  Yes I remember you.  I gained some holiday weight also.  I've lost 6 lbs but still need about 15 more off.  We can do this.  We know what to do, now its just a matter of drawing a line in the sand and DOING it!  Go girl!!! You are on this before it got too bad.  Don't feel like a failure over a few lbs.  Just get it together and stop now before it gets worse. You can reverse it.

How is hubby?

I am 2 yrs post op and had a fill last Feb that had to be taken out. I went Dec 16th for another fill and had gained 30 lbs...18 of what I lost with the last fill and 12 more. So I have revamped my diet. I know what I was eating wasnt good for me so I have stopped eating those things. I have plans to get back in the gym but finding the time to do so is my prob. I have lost 15 lbs since my fill in Dec. and am hoping to keep it going.

Just set your mind to what u need to do and just do it. It's all up to us to work the band or any other WLS procedure. It will work if we make it.
