Topic: RE: What to eat on liquid diet?
I basically lived on strained Campbell's chicken noodle soup for the 2 weeks after my surgery. The pre-op is hard because you still have your stomach and you get legitimately hungry and the liquids don't really fill you up at all. Try some jello, chicken broth, lots of water...

Topic: Just to see if you are out there!
Okay, I am just going to post an annoying daily message until all my OH friends start posting again. I had a good day. Even went for a walk. I forgot how much I like to exercise, makes me feel so full of energy!
Well, I guess that wasn't too annoying :)
Have a great week!

Thanks for the reply Brittany, I appreciate it . Not much activity on the board lately, hope that means everyone is out exercising! I had a good Monday. Getting ready to go for a walk down the road now that everyone has had dinner at my house. Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Topic: What to eat on liquid diet?
I know what a liquid diet is, just wondering if anyone has any ideas they found that will keep the few liquid items I can eat the next 2 weeks from becoming so darn dull??

You've taken the first step and that's the hardest part. I hope you're able to get back on track and I know you'll do awesome!

Topic: RE: do you love your sleeve and/or dr.gorospe?
Love love LOVE my sleeve!!! Best thing ever!!!

I will say, I have not heard anything good about dr. Gorospe. I won't go into detail about what I have heard, but I would not trust going under the knife with him.

I am a HUGE weightwise advocate and would trust Dr. B or Dr Walton with my life EVERY day of the week. Dr. B has operated on me twice already (sleeve and gall bladder removal) and I wouldn't hesitate to have him cut me open again.

Aside from my experiences, I would definitely do TONS of research on ANY and EVERY doctor you are considering operating on you. You have to make the decision on who is best for you! Dr B is truly the surgeon for me!

Best of luck to you on your upcoming journey!
