Congrats on getting your surgery date...it will be here before you know it.
The 2 weeks before surgery and the weeks following are a gift to yourself. Don't think of what you are giving up, think of what you are getting....a healthier life, less or no joint/back pain, fewer if any meds, reduction or elimination of co-morbidities. You've come this far...you can do anything for two weeks.
I sat down and made out a list of the things I had stopped doing or had given up because of my weight. It really helps put things in perspective.
Have enough supplements, broth, jello or whatever for the first week after surgery...but try not to buy large containers of anything. You tastes are probably going to change a few times after the surgery.
Good luck!!!

Congratulations on getting your date. I know you are excited. Don't pig out and have that last meal. You will be able to eat what you love again, just not as much of it. When they say your tastes will change it is true. Can't wait to follow your journey.
