I am SO proud of you   Who cares about your time, I'm impressed that you finished.  I don't think that I could do it, I probably couldn't do it back when I was in High School and in probably the best shape of my life.  I sure hope you kept the sports section of the paper, that is really something.

I did it!!!!  I ran the entire thing...slow...but did it!!!  It was the most incredible feeling to cross that finish line. I was so excited.  I actually ended up in the sports section of yesterday's paper.  I woudl have never thought I would be in a sports section.  Me and sports?!  Wow my life has changed!!  Thanks for the encouragement!

Topic: Weekly weigh In here!
Good Morning!  I must confess that this week is the worst, most embarrassing week for me to publicly post my weigh in.  So......if I CAN DO IT, then no one else has any excuse! LOL  Who runs a 1/2 marathon and gains weight?! Crazy!  I'm hoping most of this is water and I guess its time to stop carb loading! LOL

Last week:  169
Today:        174

Difference  +5  HOLY COW!

Topic: RE: Pre-op labs & requirements for Weight Wise
I am not sure that any reputable program would rush you straight into surgery.  The last thing you want is a complication.  In my experience, the Weight Wise program is designed to prepare you for surgery both mentally and physically.  Their primary objective is to get you through surgery safely, and help you to maximize your weight loss.

I got my sleeve at Weight Wise in March, and have had no problems.  Weight Wise required seminar attendance, physcian consults, psychologist consults, dietitian consults, exercise physiologist consults, sleep lab evaluation, support group attendance, labs, ekg, and pre-op weight loss.  If you ask the WW docs they will tell you that the process takes around 90 days from the time you engage the program.  Their program is one of the stricter programs out there, but they also have one of the highest success rates.  Please keep in mind that this is a major surgery, and that fast and easy might not always be the best option.

I hope this answers some of your questions, and I wish you the best of luck.
