I eat a bit of yogurt every day for the probiotics.  I buy Oikos Greek Fat Free Vanilla and add Splenda with fiber to it.  Less than 100 calories with lots of protein.  Yummy!

I think I get plenty of water.  I'm doing 90-110 oz per day.  It depends on my workout routine and such but that is average.

Keeping my fingers crossed everything works out okay!

Saw you on news again after the run last week.  Looking good!  Keep working that gift of life!  We're all proud of you!

I weaned myself off miralax probably a year after surgery. I didn't necessarily do anything special just made sure I was getting plenty of water and eventually everything straightened out.  My husband has issues with IBS and his doctor had him start taking pro biotics and he doesn't have issues anymore.  Just a thought.

Hey, all.  I'm curious what other WLS patients handle adding fiber to their diet.  I have been taking Miralax but I would like to wean off of it for something more natural.  I am starting to add generic Benefiber to what I eath and drink but I am concerned with the effects of it.  Anyone taking fiber supplements, what are your experiences?

Thanks!

Topic: RE: OKC Metro Area "Clothing Exchange"
Are you aware that the WLS support group that meets in the Moore/Norman area does a clothing exchange about every three months?

I'd love to get rid of some clothes.   I have some business/casual including some capri's that are
18's and 20's.....all the pants are in short length's.  I'm 5'1"

I'll get to that point I'm sure when I actually get to the water, lol!!!!  It's a whole family and extended family vacation, so I WILL see the people again, but you know what the loose skin looks better than the 303 # they saw last time I was in a bathing suit, so they can laugh and joke all they want, and I will laugh right along with them!!!!  I'm a work in progress!  Feeling better about the whole thing today, I found a pair of mens bathing trunks that I can wear over the bathing suit, except when I'm actually in the water, and it actually looked pretty cute together.   Panic attack over.  I'm going to post an updated pic of hubby and I quick as I shrink it down so it will fit on this site.

Topic: RE: MONEY!!!! $$$$ How Much Did You Spend?
Congrats!!  I will be watching the replies to this because I want to have it done in October.  I have been to one consultation and it was EXPENSIVE!  He said I needed 3 surgeries each about $10,000-$13,000.  Wow!  I need a money tree.
