I finally got my scale in sync with WW, so that has helped. Between trips to WW, weigh the same time of the day in the same clothes. Your scales may not be exactly the same as their scales, but you should be able to see consistent changes. Whether you choose to weigh once a month, once a week, or once a day, but do it consistently. Don't be freaked out by water gain when you travel or eat salty foods. It will come off in a few days.

Good luck!

Agreed, my scale at home is 4lbs heavier than the scale @ WW so I could completely see scales being the problem. Also, you don't necessarily have to feel swollen or bloated to be retaining water so that may also be the culprit.

I agree with Debra!  Different scales make a huge difference!  Don't worry though, it is all going to even out in the end and maybe next time before support group weigh at home and then weigh in at group.  Then you'll for sure know that the scales are telling you lies!!!

Could be a couple of things-the difference in the two scales could easily be 7 pounds or more.  The hotter weather does cause people to hold on to more water weight.

Give it time and see what happens-not what you want to hear, but it's all I got.

Need some encouragement, ya'll. I weighed last Thursday at support group. I was at 267. I weighed on Sunday when I got home from Tulsa and again on Tuesday and my cheapy scale here at home weighed me at 275. I know I did not and could not put in enough calories to add 7 lbs to my body frame. My nut thinks I may be retaining water, but nothing seems swollen.

Some one say something encouraging, quick.

Posting on the VSG forum as well.
