Thanks Deb. I've got work tomorrow, support group at Weightwise, which I have to make this week. I haven't been in a few weeks and I need the moral support. I was hoping to make it, but Tulsa is on my weekend agenda, to see family.
I appreciate the encouragement!

Lois,
I've had some family and friend issues myself. Just remember why you had the surgery. Concentrate on how great you feel and look now.
Just as you've already done, be aware of how she pushes your buttons. Prepare yourself for those times when you have to be around her or anyone that's negative. Think of some of the mean or negative things that she might say....and practice your responses.
You can always change the subject.
Tell her how much you love her.
Tell her that you are sorry she feels that way.
Or...tell her she's a jealous beeotch... well maybe not that one.
Hugs
Deb

Way to go Dana!!!!
I don't know what part of a stall is worse...the fact that the scale isn't moving ...OR...the crap that you tell yourself about it.
Did you see Leah's post about the clothing exchange tomorrow at Norman Regional? Hope you come down and join us.

Actually, it was 2#, but the first one is gone. Thanks, Debbie, for the kind words. My father in law was a wonderful man who fully lived every day of his 98 1/2 years, but we all wanted more time with him.
My eating response to the stresses could have and in years past would have been way worse. My sister is the weak link in my support system, so a week-end with her can be quite trying. Next time we may get a motel room, rather than stay at their house. Deep down, she will be relieved, but will never admit it. If I let her, she could make me feel ashamed of my weight loss. Wow, that was hard to admit, but true. I have lots of other family and friends who are very supportive, so I've been gravitating towards them, which makes her even more insecure. Any good suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks again, Debbie.
Way to go, DANA, DEBBIE, & MAJACK. Congratulations on some well deserved losses.

Almost 7 lbs can't believe it! How ever I will probably pick a lb or 2 after I go back off liquids. ( I had a fill on Monday)

But it's only one little pound. That could be water retention...so don't be disappointed. HUGS
Sorry about the loss of your Father-in-law.

I didn't start it because I was disappointed. I've regained one#. My father-in-law's funeral was last Wednesday, then spent the week-end with my sister's family for a graduation. A week with only two walks and some off plan eating took it's toll.

Didn't see the Weigh In posted for this week...so I'll start one.
