We had SO much FUN at the last exchange.  Leah brought some WL friendly homemade muffins that were absolutely YUMMY.

Several people participated in the clothing exchange....that was a lot of fun.

We did maybe a dozen of the medical ID bracelets.  We had one gentleman make a bracelet that was very striking and very masculine with some dark beads.   The ladies that made bracelets came up with some really cute ones.

Looking forward to meeting you at the next support group or clothing exchange!!!

Hi Mary,
Glad to hear you're doing good.  I had buyers remorse the second night in the hospital...but fortunately it didn't last long.

You may still have a few rough days...but they don't last long and it just keeps getting better and better.
Hugs
Deb

I can't wait til y'all's next clothing exchange so I can bring up my lot of stuff.  I don't really know for sure how much is there, but it's quite a bit.  Mostly size 8's in pants, Mediums & a few Larges in shirts.  I look forward to making more room in my closet soon, plus meeting more of my friends here on the Okie board :)

Glad to hear you're doing well now that the "buyer's remorse" is passing.  It happens to the best of us LoL.  Those commercials do get the best of you sometimes when you can't eat, I know, but I think I'm just the lunatic that enjoys torture because I was watching Food Network last time I was in the hospital on an NPO order LoL.  Hope your journey continues to be more and more successful!!

Just out of curiousity how much skin did you get removed with the TT?  I need to have skin removed and I believe I also need to have lipo as one side of my lower stomach is puffier than the other side, I believe it's because of previous surgeries, but it's not symmectrical.

I hate the Sonic Commercials the drinks look really good but I eat their ice with some Crystal Light and it's pretty good.  Glad you are doing good.  donna

Ok its been one week since my surgery. I have to tell you that first week was a little rough! Now I know what buyers remorse feels like. But as of today I feel so much better!  I even put on my makeup and went for a drive with my daughter. It was a beautiful Memorial Day! Now if I can just get thru another week of liquids I'll be home free! LOL I would also like to curse Del Rancho for their commercials that they play every 5 minutes while I'm trying to drink a way too sweet protein shake! LOL  I have already lost weight and now that I feel like I am going to live, its very exciting! Ok I just wanted to let yall know that I appreciate everyones support!~~Mary~~

I would think Alouette's could ship you a kit if you prepay(?). They are $9.50 plus tax. Their contact number is in my original posting up there ^^. Ask for the owner and tell her you are interested in having a kit shipped to you. Perhaps she could work something out for you.
The bracelets turned out really cute!
