Ok...the power of suggestion works! After reading the forums here this morning...I am gonna hafta go get me some soni****! Someone also told me at the last support group they order a limeade ice? I guess this is just the ice with lime juice squeezed over it?
Now that is is HOT.....What is everyone else's fav summer post WLS drinks?

Mary...I am so glad you are feeling better. I truly think most everyone has a few moments of "buyers remorse". We are all so programmed by the world around us...."just exercise more, eat less, exercise more"....I know I had feelings right after surgery of ,"man! I shoulda just enrolled in aerobics classes twice a day and pushed myself away from the table or something!". Now, that had NEVER worked before...but, again, I think most of us have moments where our heart thinks like this. Totally normal.
But, the good news is...it passes! And you feel great...lose weight...change for the more healthy. All what we intended to do with our surgeries.
Hang in there. Sounds like you have turned the corner~~! Put that seatbelt on...you are in for the ride of your life!

Hope you didn't stock up on too much tomato soup. You may not like it quite so much after the surgery. It's so bizarre how our taste buds change with WLS.

The good thing is that there have been a lot of changes in WLS in those 6 years.
You have a GREAT doctor, and a great hospital (Norman Regional).
It's normal to be a little scared...but you are gonna breeze thru it and do GREAT.
I feel SO much better since I had my surgery 5 months ago...

Topic: tomorrow is the big day!!!
Well today is day 10 of my pre-op diet and tomorrow is the big day! Yeah. I am down 11 lbs and I am thrilled with the liquid diet. LOL. I have to say thanks to Campells Soup at hand Creamy Tomato, it has been a life savor. To think I didn't think I liked Tomato soup. LOL. I think I drink 2 a day. Thank you to Wal-mart for keeping it in stock!!! LOL. Also thanks to GNC pro-proformance protein mix, 20 g of protein per scoop. I love the chocolate, mixed with a little ice it is quite tasty.
