GETTING PAST THE HEAD HUNGER IS A VERY HARD THING TO DO. I STRUGGLE WITH IT TOO AND ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 YEARS FOR ME!! YOU CAN DO THIS AND THE END RESULT IS SO REWARDING!

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I WENT THRU 3 DIFFERENT INSURANCE CO'S TRYING TO HAVE IT AND FINALLY MY MOM HELPED ME GET A LOAN AND I WAS SELF-PAY. HAVE NOT HAD 1 REGRET SINCE THEN!! CONGRATS ON GETTING APPROVED!!

Hi Sandy,

I am so glad to hear you are doing well!
I think we can all sympathize with getting tired of the protein shakes. Especially right after surgery it seems our tummies are quite picky and our taste buds change.

Have you tried the Chike or Bariatric Advantage shakes yet? They qualify as meal replacements (have vitamins and minerals in them) and have the appropriate amounts of amino acids to make them complete for us.

I know you may have tried this...but, I like to add sugar free pudding mix flavors to mine (1-2 T for each shake). It will change the taste some to make them more tolerable.

I have a lot of recipes for protein shakes. If you will email me...I will be happy to send them your way!

You won't believe how fast your body will change after surgery. Once you have a date, you might want to spend some time, cleaning your closet of all the winter clothes that will be too big.
