Topic: RE: How We Survive the Insanity
I will be truthful and admit I cant give you any words of wisdom. I am almost 4 years out at this point and yes I have the bad habits back in my life I live on Mt Dew most of the time it feels like and yes I KNOW they are bad for me but I am one of these ones who still experiences a large amount of restriction which I am sure is my saving grace from not gaining weight back like others have. I can still only eat a very small amount and have been steady in my weight for almost 3 years now. Yet I can see that if I didnt have the amount of restriction I do I would be back gaining weight back. I dont exercise like I did tho am much more active than I was at 400+ pounds but no where as much as I was when working so hard for that initial loss. I wish I had some magic words for you oh do I because I know that we all need them at times.

I guess the Health Choice deal is a pilot program Journey Clinic has all the details.
Topic: RE: Health Choice
6 months ago when I first checked with HealthChoice I was informed that they did not pay for weight loss surgery with one exception. I have Medicare and Health Choice is my supplemental. As a supplemental plan, it will supplement whatever Medicare pays, so in this case it will pay as Medicare pays. Is that clear as dirt.
Topic: RE: Protein Drinks
I like the Big Train Fit Frappes (various flavors), as well as Chike ****d coffee, Chocolate, Banana, and Orange Creme), and Click Protein (mostly the Vanilla Latte, though I will drink the Mocha). Those are usually the ones I stick to because I'm picky about protein. Being over 8 years out, I've tried a lot of different ones!

I just googled and read about...too late for me but encouraging!! Maybe they will start paying for plastics, too since WLS goes hand in hand with excess skin.

Topic: RE: Anyone out there??
This board used to be sooooo active. Almost to the point that it was hard to keep up with. Now, it's sadly dead. I hope we can breathe life back into it! I hope you finally get approved, Sherrie. You've been waiting for as long as I can remember now. ((hugs)
