2 week followup

I'm thrilled!!! I had my two week follow-up today. I am down 20.5 lbs!!! I have been upgraded to mushy foods. I feel like a million dollars!!!!!!!! Just wanted to shout it from the roof tops Tammy Oklahoma 285.9/265.4/135ish

Hey you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you! Keep your chin up. The hospital was great, nursing staff was great. You will be amazed at how excited you are to drink the freaking blue ice on Friday!! Please, please, please let me know how you are. Take care of you. Tammy

Tammy, I'm so happy for you!!!! The weather is beginning to get warmer and you'll be able to get out in that fresh air and walk and wow......that's just so great!!! I've been "researching and thinkin" about this since November 04. I finally went to my 1st surgeon appointment last Thursday, Feb. 24th. I am going to Dr. Steven Katsis and it will be at St. Francis. Where did you have yours done? I live in Claremore just north of Tulsa about 20 miles. Haven't even started all the evaluations. How long did yours take from that first appointment till surgery date? Vanessa, Thank you, thank you, thank you!! You are right about the weather. It is nice to walk in my neighborhood. I received a membership to the YMCA as a gift also. Great to hear about your consult. I hope that went very well. I had my surgery in Norman with Dr. Ronnie Keith. He's fantastic! My consult was November 18 and I had surgery on February 6; however, it normally doesn't take that long. I had to have a different surgery on November 22 and had to have healing time from that. I have Emphysema & Asthma and had to see a Pulmonologist as well as the other docs. He couldn't get me in until January. So, I can't give you a fair start to finish time. I have laparoscopic RNY on 02-06-06. Good luck and May God Bless You as you start this journey! Tammy
