I am unable to come to the meetings as I live a couple hours away, and my car is in no condition to drive that far but dr Floyd was my surgeon as well on sept 16th of 2005... I am beginning to loose clothing size, and I have no idea how I am going to be able to buy new clothes as I am on disability and dont make that much... is there a way that I can participate in a clothing exchange somehow on here??? I am wearing a size 26/28 in pants right now, but they are veryyyy baggy, and my tops are 3 x and 4 x... if anyone can give me any info please do it would be greatly apprecaited...

Leah, Congratulations on being on the losing side!!! Your body size and shape will be changing alot over the next year... I also started with 3X and 24/26 size clothes. I whizzed through 22, 20, and am now wearing 16's and 18's. I have had so much fun getting new clothes at Thrift stores and consignment shops. Be sure to keep your body clothed with apparel that fits nicely (you'll need new clothes starting now!) so that you (and others) see and appreciate all your efforts. It'll help with the head issues that we all sometimes wrestle with as we morph into the real person we are! Angela Lap RNY 5.23.05 288/211/150ish

Hi Leah! Congratulations on your weight loss, awesome for you! There is a link somewhere on here for the clothing exchange, I will try to find it for you. Dr. Floyd did my surgery on October 6th, just about 2 months ago. I started in an 18 when I went in, and can wear a size 14 now, and some 12's. Amazing! Anyway, let me try to find that link for you. There is one gal on here that I ship my clothing to that is too big for me now. I'll post it when I find it for you. Again, congratulations!
