New brick wall in my excitement......HELP!!!
I spoke with Kenny today, Dr. Floyds fella, and we found out that I may not have enough dietary information to get an immediate approval. I have cried all afternoon about this. My original Dr. from 1997 moved out of town, and I went to someone else *****cieved my records. Well, I didn't like him so I just didn't go. Then I moved away, and the only time I saw a Dr. was when I became pregnant. Now I'm stuck with no records of my diets, due to the records being destroyed after so many years passing. I now don't have documentation of my medical history involving this, so I may face getting rejected by my insurance company. We are submitting and taking a chance, but my dream is on crash and burn now. I'm just sure I'll have to wait longer, and I don't want too. I have to have this done in December. I'm a college student, and my field of study won't give me a big enough break the rest of the year to do this. It's now or never, and I was hoping to get this done now....Graduation is in April. I'm so bummed about this. I can only hope and pray they have the heart to grant this surgery. Any advice or words of wisdom would be appreciated at this point. Thank you.

Hi Heather,
Don't feel that way just yet. You didn't say who your insurance company was. I didn't have much of a history either. I had been through the phen-phen thing and everything. Luckily my doctor had put some notations about my weight, as well as all my other medicals. Do you have a doctor now? If not get one! Go for a physical and tell them what you are needing so there is record somewhere regarding your weight issues. Try that. Take care and keep your chin up!
