my Intake appt was scheduled for Friday .... I find out today that Southcrest is in Network, Dr, Kirk is in Network but Dr. Gorospe IS NOT!!!! So now I am crushed and have to look around again... and Tricare would have covered the procedure... I am just sick... colleen Tulsa, Ok [email protected]

I am so sorry to hear this. I assume Dr. Gorospe is your doctor who would be doing your surgery? Did you find out how much difference there would be to have him do it? It may still be worth it or will your insurance not cover it at all if someone out of network is doing the surgery? I hope you find a solution to your problem with this. have called around and in Tulsa area looks like no one takes the tricare prime... at this point in time I am not going to finance it... maybe is a reason for this to have happened... Oh well.. so goes life...

This is true. I am a firm believer in there being a reason for why things happen. It will happen when it is supposed to. Take care and let me hear from you. My surgery is tomorrow and I am pretty excited! Deborah

I dont know if you would be willing to go to Norman but I had the same problem with Dr Gorospe. I went on the internet and found Dr. Ronnie Keith in Norman, Ok. I also have tricare and Dr. Keith is in the network and he is a wonderful Dr. He uses Norman Reg Hospital and it is a great hospital too. If you are interested in checking him I can give you the info on how to get in touch with him. He did my surgery on March 28 2005 and have lost 100 lbs so far.
