3 Days After Surgery

I visit the main message board daily but less often the Oklahoma Board because there's so little activity. I had my lap band surgery on Thursday and was home Friday. First 24 hours were pretty painful, then Friday night I slept probably 18 hours and woke up Saturday morning much better. Today I went to Wal-Mart and rode around in the little cart and felt like a human being! Hope each day gets a little better as it has been doing so far! Patti

Glad to see you made it home Patti It does get better with every passing day. I had my lap RNY on Monday and was home on Wednesday and have been feeling better and stronger every day. I too slept hard my second night home - I think I slept 12 hours overnight and then had a 3 hour nap a couple of hours after that. Ever since, I have felt better and stronger than even before surgery - except for these darn staples being so itchy. Glad to see you on the losing side! Meg
