Congratulations on your date... An early Chrsitmas present... woohoo! I am almost 4 months post-op... Loss so far 65 lbs... not as much as I would like but still good...You will go thru a lot of changes.. ups & downs.. but you will survive it all and things get better... or at least we learn to cope... Make sure & take chap stick to hospital.. That was some of the best advice I got.. You will be so dry for awhile after surgery. Make sure you follow your doctors instructions and if you have access use the resources of your nutrionalist. There is lots of good info on the message boards but remember, we are all different...And your doctor is alwasy the best resource you have. Well, I just wanted to wish you a speedy sugery & recovery... Merry Christmas!

Congradulations! Mine is the same day. Your profile says 9 December. Did they move it up? I had selected the 20th because it had less impact on work and family. If you still have it on the 20th we will be at the same hospital the same day. Have you completed your final pre-op? I go to mine on Thursday and Norman Regional. Let me know if you will be there.

Hey Linda!! The surgery was on the 20th, but they moved it to the 9th(TOMORROW!!). I went for all the pre-op stuff & pre-registration last thursday! Take a pen you will need to take notes. It was very informative. You will meet the people that will be taking care of you in the hospital. I left there with a wonderful feeling, they all seem very supportive. They have a definite program though, they want you to do everything that they ask & I dont think that they are understanding if you dont. Good Luck with your surgery! Keep me in your prayers!! I hope I have a really boring surgery!! Keep me posted.
