Hi Sharon! Congratulations on getting a date! It is perfectly normal to feel what you are feeling. I didn't actually start to feel nervous until I was in surgical waiting! I noticed your surgeon is Dr. Floyd. He's mine too! Have you been to any of the OKC RNY New Beginnings support groups? They're held in Edmond on the 4th Thursday of every month from 5:45 to 8:00 at the Outpatient/Surgical Building of Edmond Hospital (same building as the bariatric wing) in Classroom 1. This month the meeting is on the 18th (today) because of Thanksgiving. I highly recommend going to this meeting if you can make it. If you can't email me, and I'll give you the name and email address of one of the leaders who gave me a kind of 'pre-op class'. I ate a lot of SF Jello when I got home from the hospital. Haven't touched it since, but I ate it everyday for the first two or three weeks. I took nightgowns to the hospital (which I didn't even wear until it was time to go home), crossword puzzles (didn't use), slippers (used those!). You don't need to take a whole lot with you. I mainly packed for my husband because he spent every day and night with me. Please email me if I can be of any help! Once again, Congratulations!! Heather

Alright!! Congratulations, Decmber 10 will be here before you know it. Could part of your nervousness be excitement? Tammy
