I have my ekg & echo today at 1PM. What should I expect? Will I have to be exposed the whole time? I sure hope not. I am so excited, this is my first preop test. I got so much to do today so I will talk to you all later. I hope everyone has a great day. Sarah

You will be exposed during the EKG, they have to put some probes under your breast... I didn't have to have an ECHO, so I'm not sure about it... But keep in mind... these people do these everyday, and aren't/shouldn't think of this in a sexual manner, they are professionals and should conduct themselves accordingly... (My Hubby went with me and stayed in the room with me, so I'd be comfortable) It's very exciting to get this ball rolling... good luck with your journey, and keep us posted!!! Lori

Thanks Lori I wish my husband could go, he would if he could. Well, I still don't want to be all hanging out for an hour, but it is for the better cause. I will post later today. Sarah

Lori pretty much said it all. Yes, you will be exposed, but many of them will place a gown or sheet over you whenever possible. I didnt have anyone in the room with me, and it went fine and im a big baby!! lol

Hello everyone!!!! Well my echo and ekg went just fine. The lady who did the echo was so so nice and I got to wear a hospital robe and she placed a towel over my chest so I never felt totally exposed. I was so glad and I didn't even have to ask. Well....That leaves me with 2 more props to do, I have my pulm next week and then my psych the week after that, I will have it all done on the 10th..!!!!!! I am just so so excited, that my tummy is all grrr and I can't finish anything-wich I know is not exactly bad. Thank you all for posting Sarah
