I understand there's several physical medical tests that need to be performed before surgery. Is it really bad? Does it hurt? Which is the worse part? I just don't want any surprises.
Psych Evaluation: You talk to a Psychiatrist for about 45 minutes.
Pulmonary: Chest X-Rays; Breathing test; Physical Exam
Cardiac: Echocardiogram and EKG - If you are "older" you may have to do a full heart work-up which may include a stress test.
