Got home yesterday, but there was no way I could sit up and post. I don't know how everyone else has done it. And those folks that give up pain meds 4 days out - WOW!!!! That's not happening here. Having a hard time sitting up still. I can walk for a while ... would be able to walk more if i didn't have to get up and down ... lol. Having to really watch my blood pressure and shortness of breath still. BUT, i have been able to keep everything i've tried down so far .... my daughter's egg was much better than the hospital one. AND, I'm getting my 64 oz plus of water in Now, if i could sleep for longer than 1 hour at a time i'd be rocking!!!! I'm trying to force myself to stay awake today so maybe i'll sleep better tonight. We shall see .....

Hey Crysti! Welcome to the losers bench!! So glad to know that you are home and doing well. That sleep thing will come with time. About the best I could do post-op those first weeks, was 2 hours. Almost like having a new baby!! Call me if you need anything! {{hugs}} Va

Crysti it is great to see you posting! I didn't get to go home until day 6 - and I remember thinking through day 4 at the hospital that I couldn't believe those around me that had surgery the same day were going HOME! Aye-yi-yi! It sounds like you are doing fine...it was a couple of weeks before I could get more than a couple of hours sleep at a time. Just remember, this too shall pass. You are on your way to a healthier you! Congratulations!
