Having pulminary pre-op tests tomorrow
I can't remember if i have to be NPO at midnight for these tests or not. Has anyone used Dr. Pearce or Dr. Floyd at Edmond Regional? I'm having the pulminary function test, some blood work, electrocardiogram and chest x-ray. I know i can't take any allergy meds or use an inhaler but forgot to ask Kenny about being NPO.
Ya i met with Kenny on Friday after I saw my rheumatologist to confirm that everything was still ok. I see Dr. Floyd at 1230 and Dr. Cole at 330. Kenny said that cole and floyd will have already discussed everything so if there were no surprises they would set up my blood work and give me a surgery time when I see Floyd and that my visit with Cole will be just a formality. However, if Cole sees something on the test results that I don't (or my nursing friend's didn't) surgery will be moved to later in the week while i go through more testing. I'm standing on faith that there are no more hidden monsters and that it will all be go!!
