Problem w/iron pills

Is it just me or has anybody else had a problem with iron pills? I took one on friday evening and probably about 10 pm it made me sicker than a dog!! I didn't wanna take it over the weekend, I was scared to. I took one this morning with food as directed, I felt sick again, couldn't eat lunch! May be I need to try something different. If you know of anything let me know. Thanks

Are they those huge gel capsule horse pills? Va

i too had a hard time with iron try the baby liquid and see if that is better i also know of some great vitamins if you are interested yvonne

The problem has been solved!!! My doctor put me on Chromagen and so far so good. I haven't had a problem since. I appreciate all your input with this. I'm just glad that I feel better. One of the doctor's that I work for said ferrous sulfate was really hard on your stomach anyway, it's no wonder I got sick. Today I'm all better. Laverna

Hi Laverna~ Dr K put me on Ferocon Iron and I didnt have a problem with them. I was worried about the size and getting thru my band. All went well and now Im off of them! Good Luck! Bonnie -79lbs
