Anyone have any super great tips they would like to share on how you plan to deal with family, friends and food over the long holiday weekend?

I'm personally going to do my Atkins Drinks for Monday - Wednesday this week and save up a few extra calories in case their is a surprise "carb" worth having a taste of this Thursday.   I am planning for 2 tablespoons of my sister's mashed potatoes and 1 teaspoon of the filling of her homemade chocolate cream pie--I'm not wasting my carbs on pie crust.

A family favorite healthy appetizer is stuffed (creme cheese, ham and green onions) mushroom caps that are baked in the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes. YUMMIEEEEE!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY OH FRIENDS....be safe, be smart and be WEIGHWISE :)

Sounds like you have a great plan!  Our Thanksgiving will be easy because we are going out to eat to a cafeteria out of town.  My plan is to sample everything I think looks good and then when I walk out of the place, I'm done.  No left overs to tempt for for days or anything.  I have scaled back a little on my calories the past few days hoping to offset.

I choose only the foods I can't get at other times of the year.  I use a small plate so my small portion looks bigger.  I hate feeling over stuffed and that icky feeling.  I so don't want to feel like I will throw up.  I am NOT going there!

Eat sensible, slowly, and stop when you are getting full.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)
