weight loss by Dr B and flat tummy by Dr. Sawan

I just sent you a private message with my password for the before/after pics.  I did consults with a couple different surgeons, Panchell and Goonce but ended up with Sawan because of other WLS patients giving their referrals to him.  He was cheaper than the other two also.  I would recommend looking at the plastic message board and going to several surgeons for consults because it really does help you to understand the process and what to expect.  -Amy

Glad to hear that everything is going well with your LBL.  I haven't been on OH in a while and am glad that I decided to see what was going on with everybody.  I was at a support group a couple of weeks ago and got to see Dr. Sawan.  And as usual I was excited to show off his work.  I am glad my wife puts up with me.  BTW she is doing awesome,  already almost to goal weight and aleady in a size 6 and looks GREAT!!!   The bad news is that I am paying for to much heavy lifting and hard work,  shoulder surgery on the 16th of Nov.  definatley not looking forward to this surgery.

That is awesome about your wife!  My husband is down 85 lbs now and looking great too.  It really is nice to have both of us on the same page. I'm sorry about your shoulder surgery.  Surgeries are only fun when they are making us look better! ha ha!!

I am seeing Dr. Sawan on January 3 for a consult!  I have a whole list of names to mention to him!  I can't have the surgery until summer but am going to try to get insurance approval, so that's why I am starting so early!  I am so ready to get rid of some of this skin!  I already had the pannilectomya few years ago, so I don't have the apron anymore, but ewe, I have way tooooooo much skin...however that is to be expected with a 240 lb. weight loss I guess.  I have held steady for the past six  months, and only about 10 lbs down over the past year, but still losing clothes sizes frequently.

I am going to be sure to throw out you guys' names to Dr. Sawan.  I want to look as good as you all do or are going to !
