Finished school & gained weight
Wendy, I don't know you & I'm not as far out as you, so I don't have first hand experience with gaining post surgery, only a lifetime of gaining. However, others have admitted to gaining post surgery and many have had success with losing it. Re-commit to protein first, track your intake, exercise, go to support group, go to see the NUT, go see the psychologist, but get started sooner rather than later. I did manage to lose 21# pre surgery on a low carb (South Beach phase I) diet, so with your restriction you can probably do even better.
Is your ticker up to date? If 35# is the worst of it, you can whip that out in 6-12 months.
Good luck!

Hey Girl, you are not alone! I posted something yesterday on this board about this very thing. I know several that have done the same thing. Be mad and embarassed and then move on. Think about your net loss. 3 years ago you would have killed to weight what you weigh right now. Remember that. The fact that you are acknowledging your slip up is great and now you just need to get a plan that works for you. You have to wake up every day and committ yourself to healthy living and to whatever plan you choose to follow. You can't rely on the WLS alone but combine that with a program and you won't lose....or will lose....you know what I mean! LOL
