Weekly Weigh In
haven't been on much lately, but then haven't seen the scale moving much either. I seem to have been at a standstill again for the last month. but now i may have the answer on why.... Last week (June1)I ended up in the hospital having emergency surgery. Had to have my gallbladder out. I know this is quite common with GBS. but the pain I was having during the night was so bad, I could not sleep and even my sleeping pill did not put me to sleep. I hurt really bad. about 4:00 a.m I had my daughter come and take me in. by 6 that evening I was in surgery having it out.
I have been bouncing between 298 and 306 for the last month. this morning I weighted in at 295. I was 317 the morning after surgery! Ouch. lots of fluid and gas that they put in me. I am back up walking and moving around more now and feeling better so I hope this weight continues to go down. I am able to walk around our super Wal-mart now too.

I'll be on vacation and offline next week, so I hope somebody else will keep it up. I'm pleased to say that I've lost a little more since Tuesday and only have 18# to my target weight. I actually mis-typed that to say 81# the first time. I cannot recall ever thinking I wanted to lose less than 20#. Of course, I may decide to lose a little more after I see how I feel and look at 128#.
