Ok. Last week I whined about an 8 lb gain and it wasn't the scales, but I think it was salt! Ate beef jerky for protein. DID NOT think about the sodium. I quit eating it and cranked my water up. So I'm back down to 270. Still not where I was, but I'm more careful now and reading labels, of even the stuff I think would be safe.
I refuse to change my signature to a higher weight. I'll change it again once I fall below 267 again. I'm just petty like that.

David, my husband, found his 98 1/2 year old father dead at his home on Saturday. Between putting his mother in the nursing home three weeks ago and this, it's been a rough month at our house. We had tried to talk Johnny into moving in with us, but he defintely lived and died on his own terms, which were quite independent. I'm grateful David retired a couple of years ago and since then has had plenty of time to spend with his parents.
Anyway, comfort food has abounded and I'm late weighing in, but I'm still working my sleeve.
