I had 12 compplications and I beleive in telling peole not to wear rosy colored glasses cause even with the best of surgeons complications do happen.
I go to support group meetings. If you speak of complications you are hushed...or asked not to scare the newbies..uh hello a support group is to let people know about life after surgery.
Any who...with support from a group or from a few folks it helps alot. I thank GOD for those that were there for me...from lap banders to eny sleevers and dsers...each surgery when it comes down to it is a tool we can use it right or abuse it..its all up to us.
Just do me a big big facor when you go and get a donut..would ya please get a lemon filled one and eat for me...PLEASE.. I even dump just thinking about eating one..
hugs to ya

See that's where we differ. I believe in telling people about complications but I also believe. I see lots of "common" procedure go hella wrong in the hospital and I see the most complicated procedures go swimmingly. I have never been a 1/2 empty type of chick.  As far as donuts are concerned..... consider it done. I may even send you a pic of me doing it LOL

donuts??? where???
when researching wls I found out more people actually die from having their tonsils removed...TONSILS!!! That more people die in accidents in the their homes then in car crashes... that the chance of your dying in a car crash on the way to the hospital is greater than dying in the or...a lot of facts that are mind boggling...
The thing about getting mature is you are more aware if how close death is...as the old saying goes buyer beware...
just where are those donuts???
