WHAT HAPPENED

I'm 3.5 months out and just learning to use this website.  Mostly, I've been a lurker, reading what everyone writes since I can't think of anything clever to say.

I don't have a lot of questions, because so far the process has seemed relatively simple.  I always liked protein & used to try to curb my intake with carbs.  Now that I know how wrong that was, I've taken to my new diet very easily.

Working in time to exercise is a little tougher, but I've started going to our local Y & that has helped a lot.  Of course, in our small town, going to the Y is almost tantamount to hanging out in bars, looking for guys, so I've been taking my husband, too.  That is good for him, even though he's never had much of a weight problem.

I pledge to try to post more if others will get in the swing of things, too.

that is a good question. I feel as others feel, that posting doesnt get replies that it once did. One could post something and not get a response...thus, making a person feel like what they posted meant nothing. I miss the booming forum....sighs. i do read, but even at times its hard for me to get on here due to school, work, school, etc...I think I am too overwhelmed...lol.

I always check this forum before I slip over to the main forum, but there's not really any activity here. Maybe we're all bummed about the cold weather? I think we can make this forum alive again with not much effort.
