Support Group?
Hey guys!
I recently moved down here from Minnesota. My boyfriend and I are actually both about 10 months out and we seem to be hitting a wall. Mostly me but we could both use a boost. Anyone know of any support groups or meetings going on around the Shawnee/OKC area? Also checking into a doctor who I can keep up with in the are. :)

Pouch Support meets at Summit Medical Center (2nd floor) in Edmond on Thursdays at 6:30. We have a monthly support group in our small town & I know there are others around. The psychologist at the WeightWise Clinic could probably give you a referral for a support group. Their # is 866-948-9473. Also there are two docs, a nutritionist & an exercise physiologist that will see patients who've had procedures elsewhere.

oklahoma weight loss options and journey clinic of moore and norman ok..have rny meetings on every other tuesday and band meetings every other thursday... both surgeons keith and nelson take new patients like yourself.
plus there is a saturday meeting next month on the 20th at norman regional hospital in the education center at 11 am this is also the quarterly clothing exchange...bring what you cant wear and get what you can..its free

Hello, We have great support groups in Edmond, Oklahoma and ALL weight loss surgery patients and their loved ones are welcome.
The regular support group meets every Thursday, except holidays, from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
You can go to weightwise.com for more details.
We're located at 15th and Sante Fe, but mapquest for exact directions.
We also have a graduate class, which is tonight, same place, same time. It's for people who are at about a year, give or take a little. We would welcome 10 month post op patients.
Edmond is just about 30-40 minutes from Shawnee and all highway.
